The war in Ukraine, unleashed by the russian federation, has been going on for three years, bringing untold suffering to the Ukrainian people and destruction of the country’s infrastructure. Russian aggression is aimed at undermining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, which causes deep concern of the international community.
In response to these challenges, Ukrainian society demonstrates incredible unity and resilience. The volunteer movement became an integral part of the resistance, providing the military and civilians with the necessary resources. Volunteers provide assistance not only in the form of ammunition and food, but also provide technical support, which is critical to the effective functioning of military units.
Volunteer initiatives – a wide range of assistance
Volunteer initiatives cover a wide range of activities. For example, in the front-line cities of Donetsk region, volunteers open “points of invincibility” for front-line fighters. Such points are equipped with showers, washing machines and access to the Internet, which allows the military to restore strength and maintain contact with relatives. These measures not only improve the living conditions of the soldiers, but also increase their morale.
The “In the Name of Victory” charity fund, with the support of the VORWARTS PHARMA company, bought and handed over a laptop and a printer for the 90th spare part, which is currently in Chasovoy Yar, Donetsk region. This equipment allows military personnel to quickly maintain documentation and report on completed tasks, which is an integral part of military service. Providing units with modern equipment contributes to increasing their combat capability and efficiency.
Volunteer support is critical to ensuring the country’s defense capability and maintaining the morale of both the military and the civilian population. Every contribution, regardless of its scale, brings Ukraine closer to victory and restoration of peace on its territory.
In this difficult time, Ukrainians demonstrate incredible solidarity and readiness to help each other. The volunteer movement became a symbol of national unity and indomitable spirit, showing the whole world that together we can overcome any difficulties and defend our freedom.
