Ukraine continues to fight. Russian aggression, which escalated into a full-scale war on February 24, 2022, brings pain and losses every day. But at the same time, it opens up a huge potential for unity, dignity and strength of Ukrainian society. It is together – the military, volunteers, philanthropists, businesses, and ordinary citizens – that we are moving towards victory.
In this war, the support provided to the military from the rear is an important component. It is not only material assistance, but also a powerful moral incentive that allows the defenders to know that they have a nation behind them that believes in victory.
Another mission accomplished
The team of the “In the Name of Victory” charitable foundation continues to work to support those who defend our country every day. Recently, we received a request from the 508th separate repair and restoration battalion to repair a combat vehicle and purchase spare parts necessary for its full operation at the front line.
The total amount of the request was UAH 60,000, and thanks to our reliable partner Vorwarts Pharma, we managed to cover this amount in full and promptly. We quickly purchased everything we needed, the vehicle was repaired and is now performing combat missions, helping our defenders at the front. This is not just a vehicle. It means transportation, evacuation, logistics and mobility of the unit. It is thanks to such details and quick decisions that Ukraine is holding the frontline in extremely difficult conditions.
As a token of their gratitude, the battalion presented our team with a flag, a chevron and a letter of thanks. These symbols are not a formality, they are warm and lively reminders that the support is reaching, that it is important and valuable. We cherish these tokens of gratitude as part of the great history of resistance, in which every detail, every hryvnia, is important.
We thank the 508th Battalion for their service. Each mission completed is one more step towards the day when peaceful skies will once again be over all of Ukraine.
