Since the beginning of the Russian aggression, the Ukrainian military has been bravely confronting the enemy, defending the freedom and independence of our country. Donetsk remains one of the key areas of combat operations, where fierce fighting is concentrated. Our defenders need constant support not only in the form of weapons, but also in providing them with basic needs such as fuel.
Fuel is one of the most important components for successful combat operations. Without it, it is impossible to move equipment quickly, evacuate the wounded, deliver ammunition and maintain combat readiness at the front. The situation is further complicated by the fact that the enemy is trying to disrupt our logistics chains by destroying infrastructure and blocking supplies.
Modern military operations require high mobility, and fuel is a key factor in this process. Armoured vehicles, trucks and medical transport all depend on an uninterrupted supply of fuel. It is especially critical to supply the army in winter, when difficult weather conditions add to the challenges. Without fuel, vehicles simply cannot function in low temperatures.
Support of the military from the rear
Volunteer support is an integral part of our defence capability. People from all over Ukraine come together to raise funds for fuel, transport and supplies for the military. Charitable organisations are actively purchasing fuel and delivering it to the frontline, often at great risk, as delivering it to hot spots is also a great danger.
Every day, thousands of people contribute to the common victory. Some of them transfer funds, others provide technical assistance or logistics. Volunteers work day and night, often sacrificing their own time and resources. Businesses that used to work for the domestic market are now becoming part of the overall support for the frontline, processing their products for the needs of the army.
The charity foundation ‘In the Name of Victory’ with the support of VORWARTS PHARMA transferred UAH 20,000 for fuel to the military in the Donetsk region. Supporting the military from the rear is not just material assistance, it is an act of solidarity and faith in a common victory. Every litre of fuel is a step forward, and every hryvnia transferred to support the army is a contribution to the future of an independent Ukraine. It is important to remember that each of us can make a contribution to this fight, and together we will definitely defeat the aggressor.
Supporting the army remains a key factor in the fight for our independence. Together – home and front – we are a single organism working for victory. Every kilometre of road covered by the Ukrainian military, every successful operation conducted in the Donetsk sector will be made possible by the joint efforts and support of those who remain in the rear. And together we are on our way to victory.
